For Cannes Lions 2010, Coca-Cola wanted a video that showed Diet Coke as a product that helps young adults navigate through their daily challenges. Coke wanted a spot that was light-hearted, optimistic and inclusive, while at the same time maintaining strong branding throughout. Most of all, they wanted a concept that young adults could relate to.
To deliver this, we created a dynamic depiction of a day in the life of an active young woman. Following her from work, to yoga, to the mall, to the beach, the video shows how today’s young people are always on the go, and need a drink that can keep up. The only thing that’s constant throughout spot? Her ice-cold bottle of Diet Coke, of course!
The spot won 4th place at Cannes, and was used across Coca-Cola’s digital channels to promote Diet Coke.
