ParticipACTION calls for us to get back to the balls, in the latest video production from hot Toronto, Ontario agency Zulu Alpha Kilo and production house Circle.
The video shows a series of lonely and sad balls in abandoned southern Ontario parks, fields and courts. Accompanied by the song “Mr. Lonely” by Bobby Vinton, the spot closes, suggesting that screen time is taking away play time. We couldn’t agree more, but can’t help but wonder if “get out there and play with those balls” wouldn’t have been a better line.
While the nicely composed video did have us lacing up our sneakers to get out and play, we still think that Hal Johnson and Joanne Macleod would have made it even better.
Now, get away from that screen and go and make those balls happy!
